| Running BIB '215' and Time Chip Portsmouth Marathon was my 31st Marathon. My 19th Marathon in 2012 and FINAL Marathon of the year. The Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon was a challenge for the more serious runners out there on Multi Terrain grounds, which includes road, shingle, beach mud and trail running.... The last couple of miles was a struggle to me... I kept on pushing myself and managed to complete in a time of 5 Hours, 41 Minutes and 34 Seconds. There were just a few Puddles (loads), lots of mud in places and some clay in one bit of beach.... and there sure was NO Rain on the day!! |
